You know the kind of thing.... that ungodly noise made by fingernails being dragged down a chalkboard.... or when you get that crinkley fingertips look from being the bath to long and you have to touch a really dry towel...... :o ermm well maybe that ones just me and why i only shower now!... :p

It was the first thing that sprung to mind when i saw your thread title. I simply cannot watch them. I don`t know what it is, but anything they are doing makes me want to shut my eyes and cover my ears. There is an Irish tv presenter called Pat Kenny who does the same for me.

My husband was shaking a saucepan on the hob just now - we cook on gas, so it was screeching on the metal grid above the burner.

That`s hideous! He couldn`t understand why I grabbed the saucepan away from him! :o

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I hate answering the phone at work - It disturbs my sleep.

The scene in Saving Private Ryan where Adam Goldberg gets the knife slowly plunged into his chest. I don`t think I`ve ever winced and squirmed as much as when I saw that.

Also, the scouse accent.

In no particular order: George Bush, The Queen(and all related hangers on), Adverts, I could go on but the list would get rather large ;)

Finger/toe nails being flicked up ....... blood tests and snakes !!!

My Mrs got her big toe caught under the front door and it just lifted it off .... (:¦
