PS2 DVD REGION X HELP NEEDED.......
Does anyone know if there is any way to get a colour picture (it plays in black and white) on my tv from the PS2 when using DVD Region X and playing an NTSC disc (region 1)?
I know it cant be a problem with the TV because when I hook my hacked Matsui 110 up to it and play the same disc it plays fine (in colour).
The TV i want it to work on is a Sanyo 21`` in my room.
ANY IDEAS?

Yes - assuming your TV supports RGB input via SCART, buy a Playstation RGB SCART cable (around £3-£4) and use it instead of the composite SCART cable that comes with the PS2. The Region X enables RGB output on DVD playback, so you don`t have to worry about the component "green screen" problem.

I don`t have a PS2, but it sounds like it`s outputting the movie as NTSC rather than PAL - your DVD player probably converts to this.
See if there`s a way to change the output, or if your Sanyo TV can handle NTSC.

both my Matsui dvd player and Orion VCR play NTSC dvds and tapes and they work perfect on this tv, the only problem is that when i play a dvd in 16:9 mode the tv goes all fuzzy. Why o why did sony have to make a p*** poor job of the PS2`s dvd playback?
I men it has Macro vision built in now is there any need for green screens?
