Page 1 of Why not use a Psychic to find Madeline ?

I remember years ago a famous London Psychic finding the body of a young child that had gone missing for months, so I just wondered why does the police not explore this avenue.

The case to find Madeline has fairly slowed down at present, and I know the Police do use these unusual talented people.

I was wondering is it only bodies these psychic`s find or can they find the living ?

In this high profile case, any method, even this unusual method, should be used to get an answer.

I don`t believe a "psychic" has ever directly solved a missing child case. Their (possibly well-meaning) involvement certainly has the potential to misdirect a police investigation though.

I see where you`re coming from, but any such action would be seen as desperate by the Portugese Police, and they`re trying to save as much face as possible, what with their official police procedure actively hampering the investigation an all..

And you`re right in that psychics have a better job talking to the dead than the living, as those that have died (esp those that die in traumatic circumstances) leave an imprint that can be followed.

In which case, I honestly hope that a psychic never finds her

Talented no, unusual oh yes, but only in the fact that they seem believe in their own crap.

Also for the family to use a "Psychic" would mean admitting to themselves that she his dead ,at this moment in time they seem to think she was snatched by Mary Poppins.
