Page 1 of POLL: What colour is your main bedroom

Sorting out my bedroom, and was going to go for a light sky blue. as its a calm colour. Others have told me its a cold colour and won`t be appreciated by toh.

Yes the colour does affect your mood in the mornings! My mate has painted her bedroom a deep purple colour and it`s depressing as it is so dark. Pale creams, yellows etc are good as they are bright and cheerful.

Personally I like a pale blue as well as it is like a sunny sky (with a bit of colour co-ordination). Not dreary at all. :)

All me units are white, as are me walls at present.
Have considered whether to change the wall/ceiling colour but if I do it`d probably be to a neutral colour.

Terracotta, which is quite dark & warm, above the picture rail is a slate grey (which is darker than I was aiming for). THO unsurprisingly hates my usual choice of darker colours.






I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I hate answering the phone at work - It disturbs my sleep.

My missus is also a big fan of Terracotta.

Walls all wood panneling....

Mine is lilac on two walls, and magnolia the others. If you have two darker walls and two lighter ones, it means it doesn`t get too overpowering.

Barnyard red on the walls plus dim lights reflects a lovely tan on your body when your really a bit pale, plus in the mornings you wake up in a roll of the hay romantic mood. ;)

Wedgewood blue for me - chill out in the evenings and light in the AM - perfect!
