Why is this man still alive?

Pete-MK (Elite Donator) posted this on Friday, 16th February 2007, 22:34

Not the man at the centre of the article - may he live a long and happy life - I refer to his assailant. God forgive the scum that calls themself his lawyer.

The point of the thread title can best be illustrated by the 5th-to-last paragraph.

Then google Leo Teskey. Seriously, there are some people that life really is too good for..

Read this on Fark... how was he even free to attack the old man with a violent history like that?! I hope Canada`s reconstructive surgery is better than its justice system. :(

They should let people pay (as I`m sure it would cost money to arrange etc) to beat this man to death with crowbars and wood with six inch nails sticking out of them and before some bleeding heart liberals whinge about how we`d be as bad as him, no we wouldn`t because after beating him to death that would not then make us go and beat people almost to death and rip a penis off a 2 year old baby this scum deserves to die instead of letting him ruin more lives. and Stick the human rights bill up your ass whoever supports it, I`d rather live in a police state than let scum like this appeal.

I just don`t understand what he has to appeal. In any decent society (of which there are none, mainly because of the pc police and (criminals) human rights as opposed to the victims. I usually try to see the whole picture, but this man (and I use the term in loosest sense) deserves to be thrown into a dark rat infested hole and forgotten about.

I do believe he deserves to die. The post above by Hermy may seem a little extreme to some, though I fully understand (and kind of support) his sentiments. It sickens me to think that he`ll be given some remand or a sentence in a mental health unit all at other peoples expense. It`s a shame to say but that`s the world we live in - a nanny state where the criminals take precedence over the victims and their families.

:( :(

because this is the fault of all the do gooders and anyone else who supports and protects all criminals this includes the uk and our mps and our justice system who will not bring back the death penalty and corporal punishment, the saying goes if you stick your hand in the fire you dont do it again,as it hurts, thats my opinion,it would be great if we brouht back the old stocks and put these in our town centres and put all petty criminals of all ages and let people throw rotten fruit and pick fun at these scumbags, but we cant do that its against human rights,if you commit a crime you are not a human, but threr we have it the law protects all criminals, remember the kids who murdered jamie bulger,i rest my case.

Utter filth. We do around in circles in society: an eye for an eye they say (then everyones blind others say) but there really needs to be some form of extreme punishment handed down to extremely violent offenders like this. What scares me more is not that he is still alive, but how he was out in society after the things that he has done. Surely life imprisonment for shooting a policeman, and violently assaulting a 2 year old would have prevented yet a further tragedy?

We also need to ask ourselves just what good keeping this guy alive would do. Is it possible that he can be turned into a decent, tax paying, law abiding, honest and trustworthy member of society? Possible yes, likely no!

why on earth does society tollerate scum like this, t**ts like that get chance after chance.
Think it`s because too many do gooders in their nice safe secure & protected lives are having too much say on what decent people have to endure and put up with. >:(

Maybe I could meet the do-gooders halfway and agree that he should have the right to appeal but on the condition he has both hands amputated so he cant grab/punch/hold weapons etc to harm someone. And for peodophiles they should have their hands and genitals taken off if they`re to be released into society, if you`re nothing like this scum then you`d have nothing to worry about.
