Page 1 of POLL: Is it permissible for a bloke to drink shandy?

Following a comment that horrified me in the Weather thread about drinking Shandy in the sun, i wondered what the general view was?

Can`t make the vote`s work. Does that mean the Shandy drinkers have won :)

I don`t mind having a shandy, if I`m having a drink through the day - not a big fan of daytime bevvying, seem to get pished far quicker that way. Is it just me?

lager top = lager with dash of lime cordial
shandy = half lager half lemonade

turbo shandy = stella + smirnoff ice

And don`t forget Shandy is the shortened form of the original Shandygaff which was half strong ale and half ginger beer. Maybe the latter ingredient is the reason seasoned alcoholics consider it a drink for the testosteronally challenged.
