Page 1 of Robbie Fowler - Should they or Shouldn`t they ?

As the title says Should Liverpool sign him or not ?.

My opinion is............................................ give the guy a new contract Rafa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fowler is not only scoring goals for us but he has been playing well too,he genuinely wants to play for the club (seems more than some other signings) and he looks great considering his fitness.

I`d choose him over crouch anyday though

Thats a good point julianf Sven never had the Bollocks to ask Shearer 4 years ago,maybe as he`s leaving us he should ask Fowler to come along as were looking a little f***ed up front at the moment.

Robbie is GOD in my eyes :x - would love to see him back in Liverpool properly :) .

Several facts about the Fowler transfer.

Leeds as of right now are still paying his wages. When Leeds sold Fowler to City it was under the agreement that they continued to pay part of his wages which he was getting at City. In going to LFC he agreed to take a pay cut to match what Leeds are still paying him, I think I read about £23k per week so LFC don`t have to pay him a penny.
Macmanaman and Fowler were supposed to have bumped into Rafa somewhere and put it to him that he could sign and wouldn`t cost LFC a penny in either wages or fees. Not sure if that`s true but seems about right.

Fowler apparently owns about 80 houses and receives rent from them all. I`ve seen some photos of them and they do look very nice. I read he has a very good long term agent who has looked after him and Fowler followed good advice and wisely invested his money in property and is one of the richest Prem players there is.

I too love Fowler and hopes he stays at `pool.

Fowler doesn`t need the money as Deadthings said and anyone who has heard the "we all live in a Robbie Fowler house" (to the tune of Yellow Submarine) can testify to.

I`d love to see him stay with Liverpool as he is arguable the only natural finisher at the club and, although we`ve comfortably finished third and are battling for second, the more goals from the front men and the less reliant we are on Gerrard, Riise, Alonso et al for goals, the better.
