Tenner on Garvavonian at 16/1
Wife has a tenner on Innox at 14/1
I have an E/W fiver on Rinci Ri at 100/1

As I mentioned in the other betting thread, many bookies are giving you 1/4 odds for the first five places,so your 66/1 and 100/1 longshots are worth a couple of quid each way punt.

Well I know next to nothing about betting but I was thinking of having a punt on the National using a on-line betting company, thought of trying Paddy Powers or Ladbrokes anybody ever used these companys on-line before?

Went to the national year before last on a stag weekend. Brilliant weekend. Could have done without ending up in A&E after one of my mates did a `peoples elbow` off the top of that big sculpture thingy in the middle of manchester, but all in all, its a great day out. Came out £60 up too, which paid for my ale in the evening.

And, yeah, im having a flutter. The great thing about the national is its one of the only races where form pretty much goes out the window and you genuinely can pick a nag if you like the jockeys colours. A few years I picked `Just William` at 200/1 because its my middle name. Stuck a fiver on the bugger and he was winning until he stacked it and the penultimate fence.......

What im listening to (if youre interested)

Paddy Power is ok IMHO, they like doing money back specials and things like that too

things like if Thierry Henry scores the last goal then they`ll refund all losing correct score and first / last goalscorer single bets

I have heard that Forest Gunner with NIna Carberry may run well (about 40 : 1 so id think e/w and not on the nose if you did back it) also Ive heard the French Horse, Innox, could be worth a look. (think Innox is about 14/1)

I think as someone said earlier though this is a race you may aswell stick a pin in the newspaper lsiting and just pray that it gets round without falling and see what happens if it does
