Page 1 of Any good Bollywood DVD sites out there?

Hi All
Im looking for any bollywood dvd sites that sell dvds at good prices. Movies like Sholay, Gadar etc. I understand that most are made in Canada and are imported into the UK-so shops over here charge alot!
Any help is appreciated.

There is a bit of a problem with the quality of service offered by Bollywood retailers for some reason so be aware!

There are a few good ones I recommend:

CDGuru.com - a professional retailer prices are quite cheap and service is good<BR>
bollywooddvd.co.uk - not tried but prices are generally RRP i.e. £19.99 so not that competitive<BR>
play247.com - has 54 at the moment, service is very good and so are the prices.<BR>
indiaweekly.com US\Indian site as far as I know.
clickwalla.com RRP if not a bit more

Avoid!
indiaplaza.com is a must don`t go there!

Sholay has been released and Gadar I think has in the US. Most general retailers do sell Bollywood dvds its just a matter of searching.

Best place for Bollywood DVDs has to be zulm.net and the forums are really good for info and bargains.

There aren`t many sites because no-one wants to watch bollywood films, they are all crap, wierdos wailing and fighting each other.

You will be surprised how many people watch bollywood films.They are not always men and women running aroud tree trunks.There are some
quality productions out there such as lagaan.They constantly make
the london top 10.But there is a lot of crap out there as well.

I don`t see how your comments are justfied seeing as Bollywood is the biggest film industry in the world and there are 10 million cinema-goers in India everyweek alone. All I wanted to know was some good sites, not some bull**** comments. So if you don`t have anything to contribute bluelou-keep your comments to yourself unless you have something nice to say.

I`m not fan of these types of films either,
but its such a big market, they must be doin something right.

Try www.under18.org they have a good selection so do www.choicesdirect.co.uk. I wouldn`t personally use the U.S. sites as the quality of transfer can be iffy and you might want to send them back (i`ve had to on many occasions) also try www.play247.com.

I can name hundreds of crap s***y films that have more in common with Hollywood than Bollywood.........JP2 Lost world....Jaws 2,3 Grease 2.. Top Gun, Airforce 1........the list is endless and there all s***e every one.
