what a great new series this is going to be... watched the first one last night, didn`t look at my watch once as just glued to it all the way through... toch of the sweeney about it with the DCI, but that makes it all the better.
Can`t wait for next weeks episode... hope the BBC have commissioned a second series and not done a Dr Who, by waiting and losing the star of the show?
Not sure some of the methods would work today... ;)

They have, heard nothing but good reviews, myself I found it a bit depressing.
does anyone know if this, and surface, are repeated at all.. I was out last night and had promised to record celebrity big brother for a mate.. gutted.

Which 70`s/80s actress does the WPC in this series remind me of?
Didn`t know about it, I was at work anyway, but just read the write up on the BBC site and it sounds a good format. Any ideas if it`s repeated on BBC Three or similar?

Just looked at her pic on the BBC site, Jill Gasgoigne springs to mind (The Gentle Touch, Cats Eyes).

I enjoyed it too, I had assumed it was going to be lighthearted comedy drama, like Quantum Leap, but was glad they kept the jokes about Jeeps, moibiles etc to a minimum, so that they were funny, but not too repetetive, and that the drama stayed serious.

Just watched about half-very enjoyable-the Open University guy on the TV was spot-on
I think I had a hair style like the WPC!! aargh the seventies-the era that fashion forgot
Do think its a coincidence that he is called Sam?
and QL not that light-hearted
Shocking that CSI wouldn`t be a viable show in 1973!!

Ah the memories, is that how you spell it?!
I thought see looked more like Siobhan Redmond, of "Bulman" and "The Smoking Room"?
BTW, has anyone found out if the prog is repeated anywhere???
