Space Cadet tripe from Channel 4

This must be the worst reality show going, with a fake Russian space training base :(

Even to the extent bringing three actors in with the gulliable cadets.

Last nights episode where one of the actors threw up with so called gastrointeritise was FAKED, it was just acting, done, because there was nothing of interest going on with the show.

How pathetic it is, when they have a fancy flashing lighted up mockup of their `shuttle`, yet have a B&Q Space Toilet seat :D

I have now given this tripe up, what a switch off !!!

PS... The only thing that made it interesting was that Russian PE teacher doing the hand stand with his body parallel to the ground then without using his feet did bunny hops with his hands only.

It was like a `Michael Jackson Moon walk moment`. Did`nt think the human body could do that.

I think the big reveal will be "Haha the joke`s on the viewers - we`re all actors!". But it still appeals to my cruel streak just in case! :D

I like morons being made to wear scary lycra full-body condoms! :D

Avoided. I don`t much like watching people being made a fool of unknowingly and unwittingly.
Johnny Vaughn used to be so good on breakfast TV. I thought he was bad when he moved to the BBC. Now he`s hit rock bottom.

Vaughn is trying to be like Dermot O Leary, but failing miserably. I think its a really cruel trick, a big all time low for Channel 4.

Watched the first one when they stated that anybody with any knowledge/hobby about astronamy was not selected 20 mins later they are all talking about the night sky and one of them was pointing out mars, the seven sisters and other sky objects :/ ,to be honest you have got to be thick to fall for this. :)

I think the concept for the show is good, but its masquerading in Big Brothers clothes. But what did we expect from Endemol? One of the guys I work with was a Producer at Endemol and left because of the way they manipulated people and the morality behind the stuff they keep putting out.

I was put off after the first episode, which was awful quite frankly.

Giggity giggity!

I`ve been watching it coz I think its quite funny.

They all honestly seem to believe the absolute codswollop they`re being fed...like our galaxy is part of the "hazelnut cluster" and the excercises (sp?) they were doing to limber up in the dody lycra suits! Should be funny when all is revealed and they`re not going to space!

The big joke will be on the viewer when it is revealed they are all actors, and that its a big con .... but in fact the big joke will be on the show when they discover nobody was watching! :D

It lost all credibility when they all accepted, without question, the fact they would not experience weightlessness. I would have walked out at that point!

I personally think it`s very funny. In a sick, voyeuristic kind of way!

I don`t think a lot of people would`ve questioned the weightlessness part of it...Not everyone watches loads of science fiction, not everyone is a space buff, and after all, they`ve got artilfical gravity generators...why would they experience weightlessness?

I certainly wouldn`t have questioned that bit, neither would a lot of my friends...and they`re being told all the rubbish by big scary people who are professors in this that or the other...I think a lot of people would accept the fact that they were going to space and not going to be weightless.
