Legalised racketeering. A TV ownership tax. 112 for utter s***e, they are the people that gave jobs to Noel Edmunds, Anthea Turner and Judith Haan. They own half of west London and paid for it with OUR money.

Is the sky blue?
Is the sea wet?
Do we really need another licence fee thread?

Oh yeah... Ken is a badass dude!

I am possibly in the minority but I still believe the fee to be value for money.

Coast.
Life in the undergrowth.
Bird watching with Bill Oddie.
Rome.
BBC 7
British Isles, a natural history.
Any David Attenborough documentary.

Not forgetting

MOTD.
Little Britain.
The Mighty Boosh.

Yup good value for me anywhoo :)

Choagy FFCUK The SPL :)

I like the Beeb too. The licence fee is an irritation, but I feel it is preferable to advertising.

Considering C4 was recently rapped for the nos of adverts it shows (must agree) give me the Beeb anyday

Current David Attenborough documentary Life in the Undergrowth is excellent

Considering most people complain about the beeb it still privdes the best coverage for sport/nature/drama/documentaries

Choagy,
Switch Bleak House for Rome and I agree with you completely. I wouldn`t like to contemplate British TV without the BBC (as it is now).

I agree with Choagy.

The BBC is the most respected broadcaster in the world and represents the high standards of British society (I am standing to attention saluting as I type this).

Seriously, it`s good s***.

Do you really want Murdoch running our entire media?

That`ll be another Sky subsciber who thinks that just because he now pays over vast sums of money to Murdoch`s empire it should somehow absolve him from paying for his TV licence then?
