anyone any ideas, were doing a Chris Cringle thing in work were everyone picks a name out of a hat and u have maximum of a fiver to buy the most sh*t present you can find!

We do something similar at the junior school I work at. There are about 40 members of staff and it got too much buying presents for people (and others feeling left out) that we started the `naff present` tradition. On the last day we have a buffet lunch and everyone brings in their `naff` gift, that they have spent no more than £1 on, wrapped beautifully. It`s great fun watching people`s faces when they open them.

The pound shop must make a bomb out of us!!

To answer your question though, yours is difficult, a fiver is too much. The name you picked out, was it a man or woman? Maybe we can help you more if we knew.

Get one of those blackboard mugs they are about £4 when I last saw one, and draw a nice little picture or message that is funny on it.

Suppose but i was looking at this mini slot machine on Play.com for 3.99 it shocks you as you try to play with it lol

I like those "Mr T in your pocket" talking keychains. They do quite a few different ones - "Family Guy", "Bullseye", "Little Britain" etc.
(I`m not sure how much they are though....) :)
