Page 1 of "multi region" dvd player!!!!!

if anyone is after a multi region player then i can recommend the Alba 103 player from toys `r` us. it costs 139.99 pounds and runs all so called `problem discs` including region 1 fight club and the matrix. its an ugly looking thing but i cant recommend it highly enough.....

Just been out and bought one and it works really well. Thanks for the excellent info - you saved our lives as we were about to go mad trying to get the one that we had working - which by the way we took back to currys Thanks again!!!!!

This player should be multi reigon out of the box and it will also play mp3 files but it wont make you a cup of coffe in the morning.

thats right, the player is multi region straight out of the box. no messing with hacks or anything. just stick any other region disc and it will work right away!!!!!

What do you mean it doesn`t make a cuppa ? My Encore DV450 does...come to think of it that`s all it does these days. Home Entertainment player of the year my butt !

Well as it is a Japanese player for the Uk market it makes a great "Killer Whale & chips with side salad too":P
