RE: Underground closed possible explosion!!!!
I hope theres no loss of life\serious injuries, though it looks that both is now very likely. :(
UPDATE - Reading the above posts that came in THO own experience pails to insignificance.
*Doing the morning school run (On foot) on Monday, walked past a set of traffic lights & 30 sec`s or so later, the pavement exploded as a electrical cable blew. No harm to her fortunately, 6 mins earlier there was a gaggle of school kids there before school started.
I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.

RE: Underground closed possible explosion!!!!
I think theres somet a bit sinister about this.......a bus has exploded as well.....
Phoned my mate up who is an engineer on the underground he said power surges at numerous stations is absolutely impossible. Even the Rail Workers union released news that there was an explosive device at one of their stations.
It ties in too well with the G8 summit :(

RE: Underground closed possible explosion!!!!
Watching ITV news at the moment and they say that the National Grid have reported no problems with electricity supply so the earlier thoughts that the Tube explosions were caused by a power surge appear unlikely.
Reports now suggest 3 buses and two Tube trains involved.

"There he goes. One of God`s own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
RE: Underground closed possible explosion!!!!
It is all about confused at the moment, but I am getting reports of three bus explosions and two on the underground.
I can see out my window that the traffic has stopped considerably.

Hmmm. I nearly went for a job in London but my dad, tin foil hat and all, virtually begged me not to, for obvious reasons.
Went for it anyway, but I didnt get it. My friend who lives in charlton and works near parliament said that when he first moved there he was watching over his shoulder all the time. But then it gets old and you have to move on.
Hope he`s ok.
