Opening Day Fixtures..

Moo.. (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 23rd June 2005, 11:16

The fixtures have been released today for next season. The opening day has thrown up some potential mouth-watering matches. The Wigan Chelsea game seems very interesting and my team Man United are away to Everton, so hopefully we can see some payback for the defeat there last year.
Heres the opening day fixtures:

August 13 fixtures (subject to change):
Arsenal v Newcastle
Aston Villa v Bolton
Everton v Man United
Fulham v Birmingham
Man City v West Brom
Middlesbrough v Liverpool
Portsmouth v Tottenham
Sunderland v Charlton
West Ham v Blackburn
Wigan v Chelsea.

It looks increasingly likely that the arrogant twats that are Chelsea will start the season with a 3 point `fine` by the FA as well.
They have until noon tomorrow to sort out Spurs` compensation package for Arnesen or they are being officially reported to the FA.
Arnesen, despite still being a Spurs` employee (albeit suspended),has been pictured on one of Abramovich`s floating cities, which has only gone and angered Spurs more.
Arrogant,arrogant twats.

Last game of the season is Arsenal v Wigan . Cant help but think that is fixed in order to give us Arsenal fans a final happy memory and win at Highbury before we move. No disrepect to Wigan fans of course

I think you`ll find it`s been fixed to give Wigan a final happy memory before they return to the Championship. ;)

Liverpool`s 1st Champions League qualifier fixture, pretty laughable really but at least the clubs can make a little revenue ;)
