Page 1 of Abolutely useless coppers...

See what you reckon to this little scenario then..
Last night,I`m getting a lift into a garage to collect the wife`s car.
Travelling through one of our city`s `less desirable` areas I spy two chav youths thrashing the tits off a motorbike along a pathway at the side of the road.
Needless to say they weren`t wearing helmets.
Now had the bike been a `scrapper` I wouldn`t have thought much of it,but I know my bikes and I immediately recognised it as a BMW worth around £4000....

So,of course,my first instinct is " that bike`s nicked ".

As soon as I collected the wife`s car I started looking for these little twats.
I quickly found them and called the coppers,but not on 999 obviously.
After the line ringing for ages I eventually got a lassie who,whilst very nice,took an absolute frigging age to type MY detals into a computer,before getting onto the subject in hand.
Bear in mind a good 10 minutes have passed by now,all the time this nicked bike,which someone misses,is being treated like a toy by utter chavs.
The coppers then say the call has been `logged` so I hang around for a good 15 minutes to see what happens.

I`ll tell you what happens.....nothing...
The chavs disperse and go home.

So,f*** the coppers,I`ve taken thing into my own hands.
I`ve sent text messages and e-mails to every biker and bike related contact I know in the area.
If anyone comes back saying they know who the owner is,I will personally help him retrieve that bike by force.

Christ almighty,can anyone tell me the point of calling the coppers any more ???? >:(

The only way we ever got any reasonable response was to report an assault??????

I know a few who have done that in order to get pushed to the top of the list and by the time the police arrived there had generally been a mishap to the offending article anyway so it was more a case of fortune telling than lying yer pants off!

Usually the council are to blame for the trips and falls with all the uneven paving slabs around??

Well, last week (or maybe the week before) it rained so a gaggle of little f***heads took refuge in the vestibule type area of our block of flats. The charming little gents were burning the carpet drawing on the walls and so on so I went out and told them to f*** off or I would smash their teeth in (I even took out a hammer to impress the urgency of my point upon them).

They did, but to learn me a lesson they went into our bin room, took the paper recycling out of it, stuffed it under one of my neighbours cars and lit it.

Needless to say the police were called.

After half an hour they sent community support officers who, I was assured, gave them a good talking to.............

Yup,the offenders get a talking to or social workers making excuses for them.
We get offered counselling to `help us deal with it`.

Un-be-f***ing-lievable.

As my colleague,who lived in Houston for years,said.

"America might have it`s problems,but the cops would have been there in seconds and probably at least three cars of them as well"

I went to new york a few years ago and i felt safer walking the streets there than in london.

One of the guys I stayed with said Giuliannis (sp?) Zero Tollerance had slashed levels of nuisance crime drastically. One of his friends brothers got a stay in the pokey for graffitiing the side of a train which, apparently, was a lesson well learned.

Would never work over here. Cherie Blair and the rest of the Human Rights Brigade would be all over that like a rash.

some justice american style. IMO this woman got what she deserved and was given fair warning.

I like to think I`m not a `turn the other cheek` person,but sometimes the stuffing gets knocked out of you and you slowly become one.
If the same scenario happened again,I`d probably remember the complete apathy of the police and think twice about calling them.
Christ,they`ve even gone and changed their phone number up here.
It used to be a nice easy number to remember but they`ve now gone and changed it to 0845 600 5700.
Try remembering that when you see a crime being committed !! :/ :(
All in all,it`s a joke at our expense,in more ways than one.
