Big Brother 2005

Well I`ll try to avoid it, but undoubtedly I`ll be subjected to it sometime over the next few weeks. Let`s see how many `celebrities` they make this time.

The problem is, we arent really interested in nobodies anymore. Every `reality` show has to have celebs in now or it dies on its arse.

Big Brother is lucky, in the way that it kicked all this crap off, but even now they have to have `characters` in it to stop people turning off.

Tonight, matthew, my Big Brother twathead checklist includes:

At least 3 gay people (maybe 2 and one token `Bi`)
2 people who are old enough to get f***ed off with `the kids`
1 muscle mary and a charver lad to keep him company
2 thick as pig s*** women
1 overly opinionated woman who gets on everybodies thru`penny bits.
Token black guy.

Im lucky. My girlfriend works in TV and hates this kind of lazy programming. In fact, she hates it more than I do, so I never have to watch a minute of it, which is nice. But I do have to remind her that she applied for a job at endemol before she got a Job at ITV, so but for the grace of god........

Dear Gamesmaster,

My Friend keeps talking about `Girls`.
What is `Girls` and is it XBox compatable?

Well according the the beeb, this year:

Quote:
Eleven of the housemates are single, two are gay and two are bisexual. Three of them were born outside the UK.

One had a "high-profile occupation", another was in the Parachute Regiment, while a third used to be a professional windsurfer and basketball player.

But which one will be the first to get their kit off?

I`ll take that bet! They are still pretty hardcore.

But just to be on the safe side, RJS might have to knock up 120 onwards of those little page arrows.

Actually, people watching was an interest of many of histories greatest thinkers. We can learn a lot from studying peoples` behaviour - anthropology anyone? `Reality TV` is just a modern twist on this ancient pastime.

You know what really bugs me about big brother? When someone starts talking about it and despite the fact that i avoid the programme at all costs i realise i`ve still heard half of the stuff they are on about. It`s just ubiquitous. You can`t avoid it.
