Very useful. Just checked my road - couldn`t beleive the price one house went for!

surprised my folks neighbours house sold last year is not on there :/

Price for our road was a little higher than I expected by about £5K, but then houses in this area go very quickly.

I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.

wow.. i live in a row of identical 3 bed victorian terraces... a neighbour three doors down sold his last April for £121,000, a neighbour currently has his on the market for £169,999, all the houses are the same, however i have the added advantage of a double detatched garage (got to be worth another £10k? on top)... and i only paid £32,000 11 years ago... wish id bought two now as next door was also for sale when i bought mine!

We were looking for a house that we thought had sold 2 years ago in our road, but discovered it was not on there, and then found out that it was because the people gave up trying to sell it, and actually let it out instead. Could be why some of you folks are drawing blanks...

One of the bigger houses on my road at £100K Jan04, and again in Nov04 at £245K -That`s quite an increase :o
