Who`s working over Christmas :( :(

MrBenn (Competent) posted this on Thursday, 9th December 2004, 21:29

I`m a Signaller on the railway and will be working Xmas eve night til Xmas day morning (hope to get home in time to see the kids open most of their presents)!!
Then it`s back on Boxing day night and to round the festive period off I`m in on New Years day @ 0700.

Oh What Joy!!!!

Any other unfortunate souls out there keeping the country running over the festive period??

Happy Christmas to all that frequent the forums :) :)

This is the first christmas in 5 years my mrs isnt working!

She used to be a transmission engineer for ITV and someone had to put out the crappy TV we all watch over christmas.

But now shes moved to local news they dont do a program on xmas or new years, so i finally get to spend the holidays with her.

Christmas Day and New Year`s Day off, other days off scattered here and there, other than that normal shifts with a bit of overtime sprinkled about.
