Watching this just now - very touching.....

I`ve just watched the documentary and I have to say I was touched by Johnny`s humour, his courage and thoughts for others. I laughed when he was with Nell MacAndrew, and I cried when he cried and when he was in pain.
Wherever he is now may he be free from the pain and suffering. God Bless you Johnny.

I don`t post that often, but must comment on this - I was very moved and close to tears with this programme, that`s from a 6` tall 18 stone prop forward, not one to show many feelings. What a brave bloke!

I missed it again!!!! Don`t believe it, really wanted to see this last time and Just got back from Alton towers and didn`t know this was being repeated. :(
Is that the time? Give me a minute and I will be there when I finish on the comp!

What could have been really difficult to watch turned out to be a real inspiration. Most of us wouldn`t have had 1% of his courage...and I`d spent all day whinging about a sore throat! An absolutely amazing man who`ll never be forgotten...
RE: Must See TV - Boy who`s skin fell off
I missed it this time around, due to me taking the old man out to the pub........
...however, I made sure that everyone at work had promised me they`d watch it before they went home this eve.
I remember it being the most moving thing I`d ever seen, well, at least since I watched The Elephant Man.....before that it would have to be Watership Down when I was a little`un........and for a tv programme to move me as much as two amazingly, emotionally powerful films (a special well done is needed for someone who can make a cartoon about bunny rabbits so heart-ripping) is truly amazing.
He should be someone that they show to kids at all stages of school - a true inspiration......and possibly the one thing in my life that has ever made me so happy to be so lucky in life. And that has just come from the fingers of a guy who`s old man has had dementia for the last 8 years and who`s mother in law was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer a few years back.
Oh, and that cheeky Geordie acccent........chokes me just remembering......
