Seeing as I made an ar$e of myself the other week when a bit drunk ( bladdered ), and was up in the pub singing John Denver ` Country Road `, why, why, WHY!!!!!.

Was just wondering what everyone elses fave songs on the karaoke are or what their most memorable performance ( good or bad ) was?

Sad or not,...my faves are :

There are many many more but these ones i like to break myself in !!!

There are a few I like to use, as said before to break myself in as it were! They are REM Losing My Religion, Robbie She`s The One (as above - great song if you get it right:-)) etc but my crowning achievement has to be Angels (I know I know, but I really can do it quite well - and there`s not much I can say that about! Although I do realise that this iis the most sung Karaoke song ever these days, no rendition would top this.....!) which I did at my wedding, to give it that extra "cheese" factor of course ;-), and my mate filmed on the night with our new digital camera - he had got the settings down to a tee and it looks like a proper music video :D:D


It`s only really ever me & one other mate out of our group that`ll dare do it and the two of us always take a while to get the first request in there (we`re too busy drinking up some courage!) but then literally flood them with requests when the first one`s been sung! It`s amazing what a little applause wil do for your confidence!!

Me and one of my mates are karaoke regulars - we suck but who cares it`s funny. Best (and also the worst performance ever) had to be when whilst drunk we saw on the song list "Let Loose - Crazy For You" and both laughed as we remembered it so decided to sing it. It only dawned on us as the song started and we were stood there mics in hand that we didn`t actually know how the song went apart from the chorus, so cue slurred words trying to guess where they fitted into the song. Soooo funny, sooooo awful to the ears!
