Page 1 of Forums problems - Is it just me???

Over the past couple of days every time i post on the forums the flashing cursor behaves quite oddly. I type a sentence then read back over it to chack for spelling mistakkes usually but at the minute when i look the sentence i have just types isnt there yet. there seems to be about a 30 second delay but the little line at the end of what i just typed moves as and when it should but appearing to be typing nothing until the words appear 30 seconds later. This is only happening to me whne i post here so i`m assuming it`s a forums problem. Is this happening to anyone else?

Well i would of said spyware on your computer but if it only happens when you post here im stumped mate :/

I had the same thing a couple of months ago, also got loads of letters instead of one when typing sometimes...very frustrating.

Do you use a cordless keyboard by any chance?

I`d read about people having strange things happening because neighbours were using a cordless keyboard too, and it was picking theirs up (even though they`re only supposed to have abotu 6ft range). I also wondered if something was interfering with it. So I switched back to my corded Microsoft Natural keyboard, and had no more problems.

I don`t know if that was the cause, but going back to a normal keyboard stopped it anyway (and it`s easier to type with....lol) :)

Not changed anything on the forums for a few months, sorry!

Yes, I`ve got the same problem.
I`ve run all the spyware progs, weeded something nasty out with Hijack this but it still does it.
I`ll offer you the same advice I got from my computer savvy friend (he builds them )

Reformat

The only reason I havent is lack of time before going on holiday but I will when I return.
I`ve been running two HDDs for ages and keeping all data on the second drive so the only thing reformatting takes is time.
