As a mild mannered atheist or it could be agnostic.....anyway, I find this type of quote hilarious. On the Day of Judgement we`ll all be dead end of story!! Have no time for religious fundamentalistism.... we`re here today...gone tomorrow. Just my opinion/belief. ;)

Its the kind of well rounded message of peace and unity that we all love to see on the Interweb.

Personally, as a non-socialist christian, I feel entirely left out by this. Its as if they have given up on us and accepted the fact that we are going to burn in hell.

Because we worship god in a slightly different way.............

Its rascist, inflammatory and derogatory to all other religions and cultures not only my own.

I really am shocked by this rubbish.

I hate any religion that tries to impose itself upon others as `The Truth` Or `A Better Way of Life`.

It has well and truly p*ssed me off today ......... >:(

hmm, it`s a tough one really, i believe everyone has the right to express themselves or there beliefs (sp) provided they don`t physicly stop others from doing the same or preach violence towards others. unfortunatly there are allways going to be cretins that will not tolerate anything other than what they define to be "normal" but simply shutting them up will only force them underground and cause more distrust through the generations, the best we can hope for is that maybe we can all evolve above and beyond hate/racism/etc

i`m speaking generaly, not just about the above article :) but it`s all related. imho.

Actually, when it comes to worship, I can be considered bone idle, but that`s beside the point.

I remember being proselytised by some of these `fervent devotees` when I was at university. They came armed with argumants galore and statements to counter any position except ridicule.

They were totally nonplussed when I laughed in their faces.
It`s actually a sort of comfort to see that they are still out there trying after all this time.

Actually there were quite a few groups represented at uni, fervent and otherwise. The Hare Krishnas threw kicking parties. :D

That didn`t stop about 500 Buddhist minks from kicking seven barrels of the old brown stuff out of each other when they disputed the "Ownership" of a Buddhist temple in the far east a few years back. "Ownership" now there is a word that is meant to be alien to Buddhism :/

TBH I have no place in my life for religion at all. I like most reasonable people of all persuasions see the flaws in each and every so called faith.

The Roman Catholic church and the abuse of thousands at the hands of people who were trusted. The same church that actively helped war criminals escape Europe after the war. But hey, in the eyes of the pontiff at the time "They were fighting the true anti-christ (Bolshevism) and as an added bonus they were destroying the Jewish faith. Yup The RC church has a wonderful history.

The Protestant/ Catholic sectarianism that has resulted in the deaths of over 3000 people in the last thirty odd years.

The Islamist militants/radicals who as a result of their own perverted interpretation of the writings of their prophet Muhammed consign many millions of their faith to persecution and hatred and defile their religion each and every time they carry out terrorist acts against "Infidels".
The "Crusades" that were launched in the name of "God" whose sole purpose was to cow and subjugate many millions of Muslims.

Yup , I am glad I am an atheist.

In the words of good old Homer J, I can always recant on my death bed just to be on the safe side :D
