Guys and gals,

I`ve noticed on some little routine checks that some users here are posting pictures here via hotlinking, rather than using their own webspace to link instead.

Rob did mention when the image facility was added that you upload to your own space, so this is just to re-iterate the fact.

It`s not that we want to become over beaurocratic here, it`s just if we let one person get away with it, then it gives free reign for everyone to do it, which isn`t fair for the great many users here who do it the proper way and use their own webspace. Also, it`d be pretty embarrasing for Rob if all of a sudden a dozen websites lynch him because users from here are pinching their bandwidth by hotlinking to their pics.

If you don`t have your own webspace, then PhotoBucket is brilliant and has more than enough storage for anyone. Plus it`s FREE to use, so there`s no excuse not to.

just use the resize option in photobucket. It works fine. i normally resize mine to 50% of the original.
