Directors Commentary - Rob Brydon

Anyone else seen this gem of a comedy program on ITV Wed 11pm ? Instant classic. The wife thought that he was a real director to begin with but I think the penny may have dropped. Peter De Lane maybe the new Alan Smithee.

I thought it was crap, the most boring and dissappointing show in a long while. Such a shame as I loved everything else he`s done.

Expect the worst and you won`t be disappointed

I think that it helps if you listen to a lot of commentaries. I thought it was hysterical. I only saw last weeks mind.. BONEanza! .. genius!

Apart from the dodgy punctuation (it should have an apostrophe) I thought it was great but you have to concentrate!
When its comes out on DVD do think it will have a director`s commentary?!

I must admit you have got to watch it more than once, but I find myself giggling all the way through it.

I couldn`t agree more - it`s one of the comedies that seems quite light, then you get the odd comment like `Michael Landon, excellent actor ...

now dead`

Plus it`s tucked away on late night ITV1, so will instantly gain a cult status.

I love this. I`ve seen both, and agree with Graham, it`s quite light, then belts out a comment which makes you laugh out loud.

I loved last nights Bruce Forsythe-isms and the tributes to Denny, the midget cameraman.

Rob Brydon. Seems to be popular. Can`t think why. Everything he does is awful.
Still, each to their own.

It was ok...reminded me of a poor version of `Mystery science theatre 3000` but without Servo and crow lol but it did have a few funny lines thru it...

I accuse my parents! or MANOS! the hand of fate are faves...:D
(obviously this will not make any sense to you if you havent seen MST3K.... :p )
