BP`s radio advert - things men never say...
The BP Wild Bean Cafe advert has just been on Virgin radio, yet again.
Does anyone else cringe big-time when the bloke says "I`ll have one of those scrummy looking baguettes, please"?
I`m sorry, but the word "scrummy" is strictly for girls only, imho. Ideally it should be banned altogether. >:(
Any opinions?

Bless should never be banned, it has so many great uses, especially when used with sarcasm. ;-)

What I hate more than anything - it really creeps me out is:
"God Bless You"
...when you are ending a phone call with them.
I`m sure I`ll get shot down for this due to it being a slightly "anti-religious" thing to say - but I`m not religious and I don`t want to be blessed! What right do you have to bless me? Are you a vicar?

funnily enough I`ve just got of the phone with someone who ended the call with that phrase....I would rather "may God slip you the 6 numbers in the next double rollover`...but that never happens....anyway, nothing wrong with being anti-religious - it cheers up my otherwise dull life :-).

Im sure there was a little skecth on the on the Mary Whitehouse Experience years ago.
They were taking the p*** out when people right "as you do" on postcards and how girls say words like `doobry`

I vaguely remember a scene in Men Behaving Badly when "doobry" was earmarked as a girls-only word, as was "horrid". I think we should add "ghastly" to that list too.

Someone saying my name at the end of every single sentence (when talking to me, of course).
