First non-region 2 DVD bought

This is where everyone finds out what a newbie I am, but the first one I bought was Moulin Rouge for my girlfriend.. I can still remember the excitement of getting a DVD that was still on at the cinema and then doing the DVD hack to be able to watch it...
Seems like a long time ago now.

...ain`t no thing.. like a chicken wing...

Eraser R1.

I bought it because I wanted to see it uncut as the UK version is just laughably bad. Quite a few of my "non-R2" DVDs were bought purely because they are cut in this country, such as Indy Trilogy, Cliffhanger, Twister and The Italian Job (remake).

R1 DVDs I`ve bought because the extras were poor or non-existant on the R2 are Frailty and There`s Something About Mary (2 disc set extended edition). And I bought Death To Smoochy, Willard and Hero (R3) because they`ve not been released here yet.

A "f*ck". That`s all ;)

To be honest I mainly bought it to see why everyone went on about the DTS track. Personally I can`t tell the difference between the DD 5.1 and the DTS :/
