Music question re REM - In Time: The Best of REM 1988 - 2003

I want to purchase this CD, but am unsure of which version to get.

I have found 3 versions, and if you could tell me which would be the best/difference between them (follow the links), it would be much appreciated:

* Standard Version
* Euro Version
* Special Edition 2CD

Well its simple the Special Edition will cost u £5 more but u get an extra cd set of songs!
The Euro version looks the same as Standard version to me!
I bought the Standard Version just to add to my Rem Album Collection :(

Apparently Shiny Happy People is something they wish would go away now. Probably would have made more people purchase the album that otherwise would not have, but I`m sure they don`t need the money.

Good little collection though.

How about "It`s the End of the World..."? How come that`s not on there?

How many best of Albums do REM need. This is their 4th by my reckoning.

The new one is the best of the Warner years only - 1988-2003, see. Doesn`t count the years that they were on IRS records

There are some other glaring omissions, Drive being a major one (although there is a different version on CD2, which since i have the album version anyway is probably a good thing) and most of Monster, Crush with eyeliner, tongue etc.... but then again it`s not a singles collection is it....

btw, is there anyone who was into music in the early-mid 90`s that doesn`t own a copy of Automatic For The People? Even as a big metal fan back then (Sepultura, Pantera, RATM and a lot more obscure acts) i bought a copy....

I agree, Automatic for the People was one of my favourite albums of all time. Was REMs Dark Side of the Moon IMHO.
