Is that really you in the NBC suit he asks knowingly?.

Yes it is me. I tried the bright red cod piece but it offered no protection.

This is obviosly a work in progress and as I am a computerphobe I am quite proud of it. My intention is for members of the WEA to be able send their stories and photos of wasp kills to me for posting on the site. This will let the world know how we are doing.

Mr Bruce! Nice to see you back. You`ve been very quiet of late.

It`s also great that the WEA is embracing the net to spread our message far and wide. I will never, ever regret bringing up the topic of the the little stripey buggers in the original `What`s is all about?` thread!

Did I mention that, a few weeks ago I discovered, somewhat to my horror, a baseball sized wasp nest in the loft over our bedroom ceiling?.

With strict orders to the rest of the family to abandon the house if they heard screaming, I returned later that evening, with a 3m copper lance (ie a length of 15mm plumbing pipe) and a can of Raid wasp nest killer (suitable for 3-5 nests, probably not basketball sized).

I bravely mashed the nest from 3m away with the copper pipe, squirted the entire contents of the can over the wriggly larvae and emerging drones (it has a range of about 3m), and bravely ran away,

I am probably very stupid, but it worked, fortunately although the nest was huge it was sparsely populated.
