24 - The postmortem (spoilers!)

RJS (undefined) posted this on Monday, 11th August 2003, 11:01

Oh my god, they killed Kenny!

I thought this season was much better than the last one, mainly because as this time they knew they had a full 24 episodes they didn`t wrap it all up in 12 and then tag on a load of poorly constructed plotlines for the remaining 12.

Can`t believe the President didn`t accept all those resignations though, but glad he fired Mike (boy did he back the wrong horse!).

With the next one being set a few years later, Jim from Neighbours will be President after all I guess.

Blimey, talk about action.

That fight between Jack and the gunman at the LA Coliseum has to be the best action I`ve seen this summer, complete with Matrix style running around the wall, break neck style.

And that`s with the poor man having been dead and revived just a few hours before, still with a dicky ticker and that...

Not to mention surviving a plane crash. Didn`t he have to pull a nasty looking piece of metal out of his leg after the crash too?

I think 24 is superb, but just occasionally I think you`re asked to suspend your disbelief a bit too much!!

But Jim from Neighbours is the Alien from the X Files-what can they be thinking?
Also prizes for spotting various characters from Angel and Buffy just filling in their Cvs by being in`proper` drama.
Did anyone see Pure 24 with the evil Terrorist admitting she enjoyed her `torture` scene with Kiefer and who wouldn`t?
Who don`t you want back next season?
I do hope that bit with George Mason turns out to be something somebody dreamed in the shower
George Mason for Pres!
