Anyone know anything about Iceland???

Neiliboy (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 14th May 2003, 15:06

Hi all,

I was thinking of sending my Dad to Iceland os he really wants to see the `Midnight Sun` on the longest day of the year (21/06).

I cant seem to find anything anywhere - tried Expedia and Teletext but nothing.

Looking for a package type jobby.

Was wondering if anyone had any advice??

Cheers in advance

Neil

There`s a company called Discover The World (www.discover-the-world.co.uk) which specialise in package-type trips to places like Iceland. I`d be surprised if they can`t fix you up with something.

Brace yourself for a hefty bill, though!

Have a look at Holiday Truths - http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk. This is an excellent site - you`ll need to register, but somebody on there will be able to give you some help.

ive actually been to reykjavik. i spent almost a week there a few years ago. its a truly beautiful place and id recommend anyone to visit. admittedly its very expensive but if youve got the money its well worth it. for good packages cresta holidays are a good bet. thats whom i went through. its featured in their cities brochure and can be picked up from a travel agent.
