Now that the `Millionaire` trial has finished I think they should show the episode in question so we can make up our own mind about the `coughing conspiracy`.
Would anyone else like to see the programme?
RE: `Millionaire` Trio found guilty
Love to, but I doubt it would happen. The program is about winning money honestly, so to see Chris Tarrant shaking hands and handing the cheque over would seem more than a little perverse, knowing what we know now

which begs the question, if Whittock knew all the answers, why the hell wasn`t he up there?

So you try to steal £1000000 and don`t go to prision?
Somthings up.
All the best,
The 42%er.
I thought that, too.
It definitely seemed to be worth a try - £15,000 to £1 million - seems fair odds to me.
Taken off BBC News:
"Footage from the show will be screened for the first time in a Tonight With Trevor McDonald special on ITV1 later this month. The 90-minute documentary, presented by Tonight reporter Martin Bashir, will show the previously unseen episode in full as part of a `definitive` account of the scandal."
Ah, Mr Bashir, first Jackson, now the Ingrams. Excellent.

RE: `Millionaire` Trio found guilty
My feelings are that someone on the "inside" helped them get on the same show.
How on earth did "The Cougher" get to be on the same show at a cruical stage? They apparently spent months planning this scam and then for Whittock to be in the Fastest Finger First stage on the next show after Ingram
had spent the night previous in the chair is a bit dubious.Any one else find this odd? What are the chances of this happening?
RE: `Millionaire` Trio found guilty
I think that the group of people were a little dodgy as well...I heard that the people in the crowd (one of whom was the "cougher") were the next two people up for fastest finger...how does that happen if they all knew each other????

The `Tonight with Trevor MacDonald` special is apparently being shown on Easter Monday.

I really can`t get excited about this case. Half a million pounds of public money has been spent on destroying the lives of three cheeky tricksters. Meanwhile, Tarrant & Celabore make a mint by touting the petty jape as being the crime of the century and selling exclusive rights to Tonight. When the courts won`t even imprison machete-wielding "poet" burglars, should we really be worrying about non-violent japesters who tried to rig a gameshow?
