As an alternative to my `Crap films` thread I just wrote. here`s the flipside. Old-ish films you dig up after over a year on the shelf, to remind you of the reason you bought them in the first place...

Just read similar threads on the Empire forums, did you copy it off them. I remember THEM being good, but dunno if it is still good because I haven`t seen it in ages. No doubt i`ll stumble across a few of titles that might fit the bill at Christmas, seeing the films on TV will be family orientated.

No idea what the `empire forums` are. But rest assured, I didn`t nick it off anyone. This, coupled with the other `films that are now crap` thread are all mi own werk

I haven`t seen The Flight of the Navigator for a couple of years, but I enjoyed it back then and I`m waiting for a DVD release...

For starters off the top of my head
The Crow
The Fifth Element
13th Warrior
Performance unfortunately not on DVD
also anything by the Coen Brothers

That`s still a good film, apart from the crap 80`s fashions and hair, and the most incredibly cheesy ending. other than that, it`s still a classic
