advice on mid-range players

after having managed to flog my s***ty alba103 player for more or less the same price to which i bought it (phew!), im now after mid-priced player, something in the region on 250 quid. i can get a phillips one (dont know the model though) already chipped with 2 free discs for 230, but wanted a little advice from anyone who has one in this range.

For that price I would go for either the LG3350 or maybe the Thomson 4500?

There should be a man along any minute to tell you to get an Aiwa.

Otherwise, Dukey`s advice is sound, though don`t know about the last bit.

Dukey, I thought it was the 505 that rocked. Perhaps you can sell Gerbil your 505 once you`ve bought a 705 :)

Alternatively, I am well chuffed with the Lecson at £200.

I am part exchanging it for the 705 from the guys I bought it from.

Here is a man to tell you that the LG3350 Rocks Big Time!!!!!!!!!!!.

But the Aiwa aint bad either you wont go wrong with any of theese also Phillips aint bad for bog standard dvd playback good picture.

LG3350 www.bennettsonline.co.uk also have the aiwa there really cheap.
