I play my copy on Steam at least once a week. Got the whole thing down to about 25 minutes

typical e3 teaser though, no indication of how much is real in game footage, and if it is, i doubt it`s average consumer PC ;)

However, more info here:

E3 2010: Portal 2 Coming to PS3

some of the videos there do make it look very cool

cheers for the link Ads, but sadly they`ve instilled a sense of trepidation.

The thing about portal was its sheer simplicity. You could get through the game using pure logic and a swiftness with the mouse. If you were crafty you could create shortcuts, or cut corners. (There`s one level I`ve completed in about 2 seconds - portal up, portal down, fall through, up portal down by lift, portal leap into exit - simple). I fear that inserting all these extra elements will 1, make the levels over-complicated and 2, make their completion linear, with little scope for creativity.

I remember how p***ed off I got with Portal Prelude, After about level 6 they were just getting stupid, and that last climb was ridiculous, but still, the underlying base of the game was still there.

Also, looking at the trailers, I`m pretty sure there no smegging way my asthmatic Pentium 4 is going to touch it

Stephen Merchant`s voice in Portal 2!

More on the new "tech"...

Some of the solutions to things look really complicated and interesting! Definitely going to be a lot harder than the first I suspect.

Portal 2 Played on Intel HD With Motion Control
Quote:
At CES, Intel was demonstrating at its booth Valve`s Portal 2 running on Intel HD graphics. Even more interesting was that instead of the traditional keyboard and mouse, or even a gamepad, Razer`s Hydra Sixense controller was used to control the game. It may not appear to be the best choice for action intense games like Call of Duty, but it seems to work decently well for Portal 2.

Now available for pre-order. Cheapest place seems to be Steam itself atm at £26.99? Though apparently some retailers will have exclusive content, but I`m not sure which ones in the UK yet. Or even if I care to have exclusive content!

Developer releases in-house creative for first-person-puzzler - watch it here

Half-Life studio Valve has shown off its TV advertisement for Portal 2 for the first time.

The developer created the spot in-house after
questioning the value of external ad agenciesQuote:
. Portal 2 is a first-person-puzzler that hits shelves on April 21st on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. EA is distributing the title.

I was in Game earlier and they had display boxes out ready, I would imagine they`ll have the exclusive content, as they do for most other games.
