Finally completed all three cups on gold at 100cc and unlocked the Special Cup!

God its ANNOYING when you spend an entire race in the lead and come 4th in the last bend.

That happened to me constantly on the 2nd cup on 150cc. I`d be doin fine right to the last level... all I`d need is to come 3rd or higher... and it`d all go horribly wrong! :(

I needed to come 3rd in the last race to win the cup, but I came fourth. I was like, "Ooooooh nooooooooo!" but luckily it gave me the win even though I was joint with second place on points. :)

WHATS THE BEST TEAM-UP AND CART TO GET ME PAST SECOND CUP (THE ONE WITH DAISYS CRUISER) ON 100CC.

Looking forward to getting this Xmas day boys. Is it as easy as the reviews state ?

Also, I gather the most fun is in multiplayer, but is it anygood as a single player ?

single player is real good. what i liked the most was the fact that you can win all the stuff whilst playing 2 player. have to say that i expected teh later cups to be more challenging than they were. have no won everything, but wont say what you get for your troubles, as i wouldnt want to ruin the suprise. i would say that if you do want to make teh game more challenging, win the mirror mode version of special cup as early as poss, as what you get for that made it more challenging for us.

great game tho, especially in a house of 4 people, when i am the best!! lol

last night i came close to stamping on my gamecube! I`ve got a gold cup in every race except the Special cup in 150cc.

I placed first on the first level...came 1st in the second, did slightly worse on the third, bowsers castle, as i fell into the lava and on the final section, rainbow road (which looks incredible) I came second. I beat the nearest rival by two points - after a week of trying I finally beat it! Then the f***ing poxy game awarded me a silver cup instead of gold...noooooooooooooooooo.

I hate single player mario kart with a passion. In multi-player its bloody fantastic, but as a single player game its an excercise in frustration.

The frustrating thing about trying to win any of the single player cups is that whoever comes first when you don`t is always the same team, so you really do have to come first in at least 2 races and place second or better in the other two to stand a chance of gold.

Really love the special cup tracks though, rainbow road is soooooooooo pretty!

AHH but.! if you stitch them up and knock em off the road then they will not come in second or third even... ;) so they will lose points that way
