Page 1 of EYE TOY....

has anyone else bought the new eye toy for playstation2 yet.
I got mine today and spent most of the afternoon waving my hands about like a spastic.
Is it just me or does anyone else think they make these toys just to make you look silly.
Good fun though..........................

What the f*ck is an Eye Toy and what does it do?

Is it for taking pictures of girls naked?

Its a new game./toy for the playstation2.
You have a camera in front of you and it puts your image onto the tv.Then you acctualy interact with the tv.
When the objects on the screen need hitting or clearing etc you do it in front of the tv phsically and it does it on the screen .
Its instead of a joypad, gets you up of your arse and you do stuff.
Its good fun . especially when you have had a few drinks and the mates are round.

Does this apply for any game, or just specific games created for the Eye Toy?

Sounds like work to me though ;-)

So, just like the video game software you get with a Phillips Toucam webcam?

At the mo its just specific games as it is new , but they will be making other stuff so you can actually put your face onto characters in games and obviously they will develope better games in the future.

I havent seen the phillips toucan webcam but it does sound similar.

Well i suppose you could because it has a video messaging part to it. So yes i suppose so.
I am just about to check my one in case the wife has left me a message...Wahay.

Got this today for my boy . He loved it . was on it today for about 5 hours . He brought all his friends in to show it off .
