Page 1 of What a cheater!

After borowing Pro Evo on the PS2 this week, I was horrified by the level of cheating the PS2 does. After going on a 7 game winning streak in a full season I was suddenly beaten by a mid league team and that was that really. I pummeled ALL the teams I played yet the PS was the first to the ball ALL the time, ran through my players, only got one chance and scored, my passes went astray, players were de-selected when I needed them, never ran for the ball when I needed it, the list is endless. I forget how many times their goalie pulled of miracle save from point blank and the amount of time I "mis-kicked" it! Best footy game ever? I think not! Kick Off 2 shall rule forever.

All the best footy games cheat on occasion - even the untouchable Sensible Soccer, sometimes, the computer would get the ball in it`s own half and you couldn`t get near it - until it hit the back of your net, this despite being able to win by 10 goals every game of the season.

Any word on the follow up? Last I heard it was sometime in October.

Sadly I think it may have been put back until early november.....

The latest I heard was 8th of November for Pro Evo 2....

Pro Evo is still the best, Ive played it so much since the day it came out. Without doubt, this is now one of my favourite all time games, even if it does cheat!!! Its much better in 2 player mode though.... one of the best!

I never liked Sensible Soccer, always preferred the Kick Off series.

incidntally i used to kick washu`s ass every week!!!

I dunno - Kick Off required more skill to play for sure, but Sensi was more enjoyable to play!!!

In reply to the elephant, you NEVER kicked my ass with your crappy Spanish team! You were a filthy cropper and you only picked Spain as one of their players was me. J.Downs and A.day, what a pair of strikers!

Sensi gets my vote. Some great bugs in Kick Off though.
