No more Spider-man in the MCU, but more Matrix!
Disney and Marvel couldn't sort out an extension to the deal, which leaves Tom Holland swinging without a web.

But, Lana Wachowski is making another Matrix movie, and Keanu and Carrie-Anne Moss are in.

For those that cannot wait for the next matrix sequel.
Well there is always The Animatrix from 2003, which explores the world of the matrix using a number of individual different and very interesting stories, Available via on line viewing and DVD, The animation of each story is different styles ranging from CGI to individual drawn pictures frame by frame.
My favorite is the haunted house 'glitchs in the matrix' story, though they all have a 1984 owrellian flavour of humans being controlled by the machines to retain the matrix.
And we wonder why people will still strive to create A.I. when science fiction gives such warnings of a negative outcome for humanity.

I don't need a Matrix sequel in much the same way as I've wiped out the two that followed the original.
As far as I'm concerned The Matrix was a stand-alone film.

Have to agree that the two sequels of the matrix were rather same same. I have all three on DVD but usually only watch the Matrix.
Seems this new Spiderman is very popular, never seen his films, but the fans still want other films, so once the two agree over profits then they will likely go ahead. I must try watching this new guys films, as never liked the previous Peter Parker actors.

I know I am not in the majority here, but my favourite Matrix film is actually the second one.
Also quite glad they are stopping with the endless attempts to reboot the Spider-man franchise!

I think Tom Holland proves that film execs really need to consider Brit actors more rather than just homegrown stars...
