Seen many a distraction in the movies, as anything can happen
1..Police raiding cinema , lights went up and a scramble to get someone.
2. All out fight in the cinema, as guy got fed up getting hit with peanuts by another guy in the back row, result Police called in.
3. Someone stealing handbag, cry goes out, woman running after said thief. call the police.
4.Rats scurrying by seats, as curtains raised.
5.Cowboy saloon doors at the back of specific cinema, clattering everytime someone went to the toilet or get sweets.
6.Fire alarm goes off in lobby, everyone out, try to get refund.
7.Go in (grrh) and its baby and pram day, and they keep the lights up a bit for mothers to watch screaming baby, I get out as hate that, and ask for a different hour where cinema goes dark.
8. Worst....Someone sits down with stinky cheesy natchos, get up and move furthest location away.
The list is endless distractions, and may be better watching a DVD at home
Just do what I do and go to the Monday morning first showing. Normally 2-3 other people in there, sometimes as many as 5. Then there was that time I watched a movie all alone.
Plus if you time it right you'll be out and at Waga Mamas before the lunch time crowd arrive.
This is what I do now, and go for a morning works meeting and then sneak into the cinema, where only a few are there. You always get a good view with no-one in front.
But......one time the sound was far too loud and went out into the foyer and told the manger that me and the one other guy watching the film had a unanimous vote that the sound was far too loud
Signed up to ODEON Limitless - 17.99 a month and so far I'm winning ;)
Avoid Tuesdays & Wednesdays due to the Meerkat 2 for 1 lot - and Fri & Sat nights - usually only a couple in the place (TC - Manchester)
Still beyind me that some dicks sit playing with phones! Or giving a running commentary!
Best one was Victoria & Abdul - older aged audience and it kicked off as someone was scrucnhing his popcorn packet rather loudly - chap about 60 odd got up and shouted "put that f'ing popcorn down or I'll drop you"
:)
IN MADNESS YOU DWELL
Interesting way of putting it. Not heard "I'll drop you" before.
I only ever go to first weekday screenings as well now. I've had way too many instances of selfish cinema goers to go back to primetime screenings
RE: [VIDEO] Trip to the cinema
One more reason not to go to the cinema, at least not without life insurance...

Good job I cannot afford "luxury seating".
