Are all/most/some Region 4 DVD`s endoded to play in Region 2?

Is there a big price/quality difference?

Search through the forums and you`ll find some longer answers, but briefly it all depends on each individual title. Some are dual coded, and the quality is often the same or better, but it can also be worse.

Price wise they are almost always cheaper than normal R2 prices, but some titles come out a lot later in R4.

If you need to check R4 DVD titles go to :-

http://www.michaeldvd.com.au

If the film you want is there, it`ll usually tell you if it`s dual coded.

and if you need to find a r4 retailer then visit http://www.dvdstep.com :-).
Price is the big significant difference between R4 & R2. The only other thing is for some movies R4 contents are better (especially oz films) and vice-versa I suppose.

You will find that only the minority of films come in Region 2 and 4, I have had to recently convert my DVD to accept Region 2 with my australian player but the quality is good and well you will find the DVD`s in Australia are so much cheaper than in the UK..For instance I recently brought Brigette Jones Diary for $29 which is around 12 pound in UK money..:)
