The pending pile....oooh `eck!
Thanks to a proliferation of bargains in the last six months (Complete Sherlock Holmes (Brett - £36); Holmes movie set (Rathbone - £14.99) Abbot and Costello collection 23 movies ( £18 ); Six Million Dollar Man season 1 (£6.99) etc etc ...) my pending pile has grown to indefensible proportions...probably 100 discs plus....
....anyone else share this `too much stuff, too little time` problem?! And what`s in your pending pile? :/

RE: The pending pile....oooh `eck!

Still to go through (edited highlights only):
Holmes (Brett)
Space: Above & Beyond
Columbo S1
Firefly & Serenity
Profit
Ultraviolet (90`s C4 series about vampires)
plus far far too many films...

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...
And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...
lol, snap
Firefly & Serenity
Profit(seen it on tv, years ago)
Amercian Dad(seen it on tv)
Family Guy(seen it on tv)

Profit and BoB, I bought cos they were cheap, and I`ve seen them but gf hasn`t, and I think she`ll like them, one day we may find out.
films, list is too long. i think I`m at the stage now where I own more DVDs I haven`t seen than have! I`m a sucker for Asda, Play etc when films are £5, cos I alwasy think "fiver, not much more than renting it, may as well give that a go"

Do them NOW.
As for me Doctor Who boxsets S1 & 2 & classic series, still got New Beginings to come in the post. Gawd I miss my weekly train trips Paddington - Exeter (used to be able to watch so much stuff).
I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.
Todays goal is to exceed yesterdays record level of totally unverifable productivity.
I don`t understand why people knock ASBO`s, they are good things as for most of the recipients, these are the only qualifications they will ever have.

RE: The pending pile....oooh `eck!
^ I smell a western-themed weekend.
I cut right back on my DVD buying and, subsequently, haven`t got a pile per se, as any new stuff just gets bunged into my collection and watched when I fancy it. I`ve got stuff from last year`s sales I`ve forgotten about and haven`t got round to watching.
However, games piles, that`s another story. Half of my games collection has yet to be played. I can`t seem to cut back on them. :/

RE: The pending pile....oooh `eck!
I`ve got a pile of films to watch, and lots of TV series too. Still got Alias, Season 2, 3, 4 and 5 to watch yet, as well as lots of new episodes of current series.
I`ve also got three or four games that I`ve not been able to barely touch yet, because of lack of time. And I`m not even half way through Gears of War yet either. :(
