Page 1 of Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition (Region 2) - Released 29th October Help?

Can anyone out there let me know if Terminator 2 Ultimate edition is contained in the speciel metal case or tin, as similar to the region 1 release in the USA. It is released on Monday 29th October in yhe UK, but I have noticed it is already released on Play247 in region 2. Does anyone already have this in region 2, is it definately in a metal case etc.

Not sure about the tin question but think the R2 wont have the seamless branching that the R1 employs to show the 3 different versions of T2 on it.

Yeah, there will be a limited edition tin box set in the UK. Don`t forget that you need to access the extended version via an Easter Egg - 082997, I think (but feel free to correct me if I`m wrong !)

Hi there, I received my copy of T2 Ultimate Edition (R2) from Play24/7 on Saturday, and it did come with a metal case. But inside the 2 discs are actually in a regular plastic dvd case.

I tried 082997 easter egg for hours, in the end I came up with 0802090907 which on disc 1 allows you to view deleted scenes of T-1000 searching John`s bedroom and an alternate `HAPPY` ending. But as far as I know or could find there are no other versions of the movie available on the region 2 disc set other than the extended version. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated as I almost went blind getting as far as I did.

You can only watch the ultimate edition of the movie with the use of branching the deleted scenes in on the region 1 disc.

On the region 2 disc you can just view the deleted scenes. I dont think you can watch them added to the movie.

Due to this fact i am glad i bought the region 1 disc although the packaging for the region 2 looks better.

Is that the r1 version or r2? I thought the r2 version only had the special version on it?
