PSP Wi Fi Connection Help*

Hi,

Can anyone help me as I`ve recently purchased a Datel WiFi for my psp and am trying to connect to the internet from my pc!

I am running Windows ME Home Edition and have an ADSL modem connected to BT Yahoo Broadband. I am getting a strong signal to the dongle from my psp when I perform a scan, but keep getting a connection failure. I`m not sure if I need to manually input IP settings into my psp as I`ve tried both automatic and manual without success!

Has anyone out there in the UK managed to connect their psp with a datel wifi running bt broadband and has windows me, Please can you help!!

Best 3 in 1 Scart Connector Help?

Hi

Please can anyone help me as I`m looking to buy a good quality, gold plated if possible 3 in 1 scart connector so that I can connect my PS2, DVD and video recorder to my television. I have already purchased some time ago a 3 in 1 scart connector from Argos but was quite disappointed by its build and output quality. I`m looking to pay between £10 and £15 and would appreciate any recommendations as to where I can purchase any others from.

Toshiba SD220E Multi-region Player Help???

Hi There

Please can anyone out there help me as my old DVD player is now starting to play up and I`m wanting to buy a new system very soon.

I quite like the reviews given to the Toshiba SD220 multi-region player but would like to know how many scart inputs it has at the back of the system.

My old Grundig 210E player has 2 scarts and this was ideal for me as I could connect my video to the DVD player and then connect the DVD to the TV. My TV has only 2 scarts at the back and one is already taken up with the PS2. I`ve tried using a 4 in 1 scart output connector device but didn`t find the audio and picture quality to be quite the same as singularly using each scart inputting to the TV.

Please can anyone recommend a quality DVD player that is already or can be remotely hacked to multi-region with two rear scarts and a price between £120 - £130, as I would be very grateful.

MATSUI 28" Pure Flatscreen TV Model 28WF10 NTSC-Compatible HELP???

Please can anyone help me as I`m wanting to buy this model from my local store and would like to know if it will automatically switch to NTSC from PAL when I run my Grundig GDV 210A multi-region DVD player.

I have heard that some TV`s play only in black and white when playing a multi-region DVD film through it and don`t want to buy the wrong model type.

My old Matsui widescreen TV played just fine with multi-region films and converted them to colour automatically, but I have already been in my local store with little help and they showed me the manual but there was no information about NTSC from PAL of this kind in there.

Please can anyone out there help me desperately, perhaps someone already has this model of TV and is running multi-region films on it ok.

"Pearl Harbor Ultimate Edition" Region 2 or "Vista Series Directors Cut" Region 1 Help?

Please can anyone advise me as to which region DVD box set I should buy as I`m very much interested in getting Pearl Harbour Ultimate Edition DVD set in region 2. I have already read a lot about the Region 1 Vista Series - Directors Cut but don`t know much about the recently released Ultimate edition, is this also a Directors Cut like the Region 1 version! Please can anyone out there advise me.

Which Evil Dead DVD Should I Buy?

Please can somone help me as I would very much like to purchase this DVD but as there are so many different re-releases nowdays of the same title I am unsure of what to pick. I would like to buy the full uncut original feature with "within the woods" and if anyone already has this in Region 2 can they please give me info of which DVD I should purchase.

RCE Help On Grundig GDV 210A?

Please can someone out there help me as I am very shortly ordering a Region 1 title that is RCE encoded. I have never had one of these RCE titles before and would like to know if anyone with the same player as mine has had any probs playing or loading these types at any time in the past. Your help would be most grateful, I have already looked through the region hacks on this site but nothing comes up on my player with regard to RCE compatibility. I have already remotely hacked it to play all regions.

LOTR Region 1 or Region 2 Collectors Edition Help?

Hi everyone,

I need some helpful information on the release of "Lord Of The Rings" Collectors Edtion that is being released in November. I want the extra half hour of the directors cut, but have read earlier threads that it will be cut in this country (R2) for reasons of a higher certificate rating from PG to a 15. But in America (R1) this will not be cut in the Collectors Edition, so I need to confirm of what is happening on this to clear things up. I can now order either of the two regions from Play for the November release but would really like Region 2 as I favour the frame rate for this country a lot better and so would prefer this. Please can anyone help give me some proper confirmation on this so I can place an order very soon.

Is my Grundig GDV 210A Player RCE Compatible?

Please can anybody out there help me in letting me know if my player will be able to run RCE DVD`s, as I`m thinking of ordering some RCE region 1 titles from Play.com.

I have already managed to remotely hack my player to run all regions, but I don`t want to waste my money in buying an RCE title and it then it doesn`t work, so someone might be able to help me here.

One 4 All four Remote Control Help?

I have recently bought a one4all four Digital remote control to operate my tv, vcr and dvd player, but have only managed to get the tv and vcr operational from it. My DVD player is a Grundig GDV 210A and have tried everything to code it in to operate from the remote but have had no luck. Does anyone already have this remote and have got it to work, your info would be most appreciated. I have read the operating instructions and have tried patiently all the methods but haven`t been able to get it to work, maybe its the dvd player model.

Where can I buy Region 0 DVD`s?

Can anyone suggest to me a reliable site whre I can buy good value region 0 DVD`s. I have already bought titles from Play 247 for region 1 & 2 dvd`s, but would like to buy Spartacus on region 0 for the extras. I have been on DVD Comparisons and they show many regions and Spartacus suggests a region 0 as a 2 disc set.

Can anyone help me as to how you exactly use the one4all remote with the magic key in simple terms. Has anyone already got this player and is using this remote to convert it to multi-region? Can anyone spell out to me step by step as to how I use the one4all remote in order, do I have to use it every time I switch on the player. How do I first use it, is it only once when I first get the player.

On the region hacks page for this player it doesn`t help me as to when I need to use the one4all remote.

Please can someone help me, step by step.

Please can anyone out there help me as I would like to know if any of the following DVD players can be remotely hacked to be multi-region.

I have already checked out the multi-region hacks page on this site with not much luck, but the Phillips looks quite technical to remotely hack, do I have to purchase another remote control to convert this player, please can anyone advise me if I choose this player on how to convert to multi-region.

100 Greatest Films - Channel 4 - Saturday - what`s your 1-2-3 ?

Hi everyone,
Just thought I would leave a short message about the new Radio Times Magazine that I bought today. On the front cover it shows a picture of the giant epic GLADIATOR and say "Is this the greatest film of all time?" which is shown on Channel 4 on Saturday.

I must say that it is my favourite film of all time as it has a such a superb cast, music that blends in so well with the script, and portrays a very strong message to everyone of determnation and faith within oneself in achieving anything. I can watch it time after time and always it is so powerful and exciting, and quite sad.

"Terminator 2" Region 1 From Play247.Com NO METAL SLIP CASE?

I have just received a copy of Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition region 1 from Play247 and was very disappointed with what I received. Instead of getting the special metal slip case I was excitedly expecting all I received was a bent up cardboard silver box edition containing the title.

Does anyone know if Play will accept the title back as a returned one as I wiill not accept this for the price it has cost. Your comments will be most appreciated.

Playstation 2 Help?

Does anyone know out there whether the PSX2 can use the old joypads from the original Playstation consol, and also whether you can put in the old memory card from the PSX into the PSX2, as I already know you can play PSX games on the new PSX2 system.

Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition (Region 2) - Released 29th October Help?

Can anyone out there let me know if Terminator 2 Ultimate edition is contained in the speciel metal case or tin, as similar to the region 1 release in the USA. It is released on Monday 29th October in yhe UK, but I have noticed it is already released on Play247 in region 2. Does anyone already have this in region 2, is it definately in a metal case etc.

Driven - RCE Encoded Help

Can Anyone help me out there as I would like to purchase Driven (R1), but it is an RCE encoded disk. My player is a Grundig GDV210A and when I bought Gladiator the second disk I had problems with. I haven`t had any other problems with all the other films that I have bought, so can anyone help me if I buy this film it is likely to work on my player. Play247 do not accept them back once removed from their packaging.

Terminator 2 REGION 2 In Metal Slip Case

Does anyone out there know where I can pre-order Terminator 2 Region 2 in the collector metal slip case. I know that a Limited Edition exists in Region 1, but I would prefer this movie in our own region 2 as I personally think the picture is slightly sharper and the frame rate is better.
