Page 1 of OK...The X-Files or Twin Peaks?
DVDs & Films Forum
After asking about Buffy, and now thinking that I won`t get the season boxsets, I am thinking of getting either The X-Files or Twin Peaks.
What are people`s opinions on the shows, and how do they compare?

RE: OK...The X-Files or Twin Peaks?
No-brainer.....X-Files every time.
If you want reasons...
1. More contemporary than TP;
2. Easier to follow;
3. Scully is a BABE!
4. Need I say more?
I think there`s not much to choose `tween the regions, so I got el cheapo sets from Oz - (DVDCrave I think - mostly).
The truth is out there....in box sets... :)

Hmm, I`d have gone the other way, Twin Peaks, but only the first series. After that there were too many guest directors just trying to out-lynch Lynch, I thought.
And Scully`s head is so big I was amazed she didn`t fall over every episode.
RE: OK...The X-Files or Twin Peaks?
Get them both! :D
Twin Peaks only has two seasons (one out on DVD aws), and X-Files like 10. So if you can afford to buy the whole series of X-Files, you can surely find the extra bucks to get Twin Peaks as well :)
Especially if you keep an eye out on Play`s bargain-section where I found it at £17.99 a couple of month ago (and it`ll surely pop up there again).
-I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

Not if I haven`t seen the shows in question, no. :/
