Call me sad, but I enjoyed the Police Academy films. I`ll be saving up my shekels for the box set and reacquainting myself with Commandant Lassard, Mahoney, Tackleberry, Hightower and the rest. I just hope we get decent OAR anamorphic transfers (proper widescreen would do) ;)

I`m with you all the way Mr Oates - top films indeed......was it just me or did you all try playing the "air computer" when you were a kid?! :D

My favourite characters have to be Zed and Tackleberry (right spelling??) - you`ve also got to love the son and Dad that beat the sh*t out of each other over dinner too!! ;)

I also will be straight out to get this set when it appears......

There really was only one great movie (the 1st), a couple of OKs and a couple of dud IMO. Not exactly boxset material but depends on the pricing!

Tend to watch them every now and again when they`re on TV but think I`d only buy the first one (maybe the 2nd at a push). Here`s hoping there`s an SE of the first available separately!
