Can anyone list their australian dvds that are also region 2 compatible?

RE: Australian region 4 + 2 dvds
Back to The Future Trilogy, Spider-Man and The Scorpion King
http://www.ezydvd.com.au/ show the region on the disc details pages
i.e. http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/223134 Gangs Of New York, which it says is Region 4 only.
If you are after a particular disc maybe this is the way to find out if it dual region
Go to http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/ and type in a title and it will tell you what regions the disk is
Or you could look at the subtitles on the disk if its got things like french Spanish German Italian then it is probally region 2/4 but if it`s English only then it is probally Region 4 only
My brain hurts
"and are all the warner bros dvds also region 2. "
Most WB R4 DVD`s are not region 2 as most of their R4 DVD`s are NTSC and coded 1 and 4

I wouldn`t have said `most`! WB have released a few titles Down Under as NTSC R1/R4 - but the vast majority of their Aussie releases are PAL R2/R4, in common with most other studios.
By the way Pat - EzyDVD only tell you the region(s) listed on the box, not what is on the actual disc.

For WB, the stanley kubrick discs can play on r2 machines.
same goes for all the universal hitchcock discs...these are well cheap in oz as well, especially the box sets.
Star Wars Attack Of The Clones is R2/R4. It`s the most infamous DVD I think because it has the absolutely shocking headbutt that the BBFC deemed too dangerous for us.
BTW, the BBFC are CI_INTS ;-)
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it is ;-)
