Page 1 of Resident Evil

Am i the only person who thought that Resident Evil was a really good movie, i saw it in America like 4months before it came out over here, and i thought it was brilliant. the acting could have been better. but you dont watch a film like this for its acting, you watch it for the action (and for me the soundtrack, which kicked arse).

I loved this film a hi 9 out of 10 from me!

Nope. I picked it up cheap from DVD Soon when it was released in the states last year and bloody loved it.

Just a great blood and guts action movie that dispenses of teh mood music and has an adrenalin packed kick arse soundtrack that really gives the film great momentum.
Been meaning to watch it again recently.

I like it too and just borrowed an R1 copy. It`s just a good, no-brainer action film. Girls with guns always does it for me...

Can`t wait for the 2-disc set later this year. :-)

Yup, I enjoyed it too. I like zombies, Resident Evil game concept and storyline, and action films. So it entertained me thoroughly. The girls didn`t hurt either ;-)

What`s the 2-discer going to be like then?

the director Paul Anderson said last year, in quite a few interviews, that there would be another cut of the film coming out on DVD, though he didn`t elaborate anymore. While there is another version coming out, no one knows for sure if it will be 1-disc or 2, or know when it`s scheduled to appear except for sometime in 2003.

There is a 2 disk set out in Germany, no news on when it is coming out over here or in the states

I know there`s a Spanish 2-disc set, didn`t know about the German one. Unfortunately this isn`t the DVD mentioned in the interviews so unless you`re prepared to wait, you may as well get either the German or Australian discs with DTS audio.

Resident Evil 2 now has a director on board, a newcomer by the name of Alexander Witt, whilst Paul Anderson will write & direct. Milla will reprise her role as Alice, and it`s believed that Eric Mabius will return as Nemesis. Shooting will start in the summer, sometime in July from what I read somewhere. I loved the original, but being a dedicated RE gamer, I was v.dissapointed at the lack of connection between the movie & game, here`s hoping this one pleases both audiences!

Eh? Two directors? Or is it Witt directing, Anderson writing?

apparently (i cant remember were i read this) but the resident evil 2 movie is suppost to have the characters from the resident evil 2 game meating up with Milla Jovovich`s caracter! not sure if true but hope so, and the nemesis part should be really cool. and i hope they have a quality sound track like last time My Plague is a classic!
