RE: Fave album you`re listening to at the moment?

Hint - Portakabin Fever
At Swim Two Birds - Quigleys Point
The Beat Famers - Tales of the new west

RE: Resident Evil

There is a 2 disk set out in Germany, no news on when it is coming out over here or in the states

RE: Royksopp - Melody A.M.

If you heard the track on MTV then, although they have a playlist, you have chosen to watch and thus discovered the band yourself.

What I object to is people like Jo Whiley, jumping on the band wagon and telling you, you should go out and buy it because at the moment it is cool, even though they have more or less ignored them over the past years. It was the same with Eminem. The first album came out, very little publicity. Second album comes out, suddenly he his the best thing ever to produce music. I`m sorry but if he is that good then why wasn`t you raving about him after the first album, or even before he made an album.

I agree the majority of the time you need something or someone to bring a band to your attention, be that MTV or radio or Q, but I just object to a band becoming popular because someone put it on an advert or played to death on radio.

RE: Royksopp - Melody A.M.

It came out January/February 2002 and then was promoted more after the advert was first shown.

People should really get off their arses and go and discover these bands for themselves instead of being told what to listen to by TV adverts and radio stations.

It was the same with the Dandy Warhols, been around for years suddenly because of that advert, everyone was raving about them.

RE: The best music videos..... ever?

Anything by Chris Cunningham.

Come to Daddy, Aphex Twin is the best by far.

RE: Nikita - any good?

Plus on the UK release the subtitles are toned down for language. There is a bit where she is saying Mother Flippers (as they would dub it on a TV version) but the subtitle track is just blank.

RE: Region 2 : Last House On The Left @ Play.

Went to see this at the ICA about 3 years ago. Not a great film, but well worth seeing just to wonder why it`s still being cut.

RE: Digital Channels through RF output on Freeview Boxes

Yep you just need to tune say channel 6 into the digibox out put. You`ll get a better picture if you go through a video, but remember you can`t tape a digital channel while watching another one.

Which DigiBox

What type of digibox are you using to pick up Freeview?
I`m going to buy one and wondering wether to go for a cheep old itv digial box or a brand new one.

Pulp Fiction - 2 disk special edition

Was watching pulp fiction last night and the audio seems to be slightly out of sync, I thought it was just my set up, but one of the lads at work said his was the same.
All the extras seem to be out as well.
Anybody else had any problems
